One of a pair of cottages at Maen Dewi Farm in the hamlet of Rhodiad y Brenin, Bwthyn Dowrog is a welcoming and cosy retreat to explore the fantastic walking options here on the North Pembrokeshire Coast.
Step through the front door of Bwthyn Dowrog and walk into the welcoming open plan living area. Its warming wood-burner is perfect for out-of-season breaks and come the summer months there is plenty of outside space to enjoy. Open the french doors onto your own private patio overlooking the Dowrog Common and into the sun trap garden to soak up the sunshine. The Kitchen is well equipped for your holiday needs including bean to cup coffee machine to deliver the perfect coffee with your holiday breakfast. The en-suite Kingsize bedroom enjoys tranquil views over the Dowrog Common.
This cottage is a truly peaceful retreat and a joy to return to after a day out exploring the area. Not only do you have the small beautiful city of St Davids just a mile away, but you also have the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast within easy reach.

Bwthyn Dowrog welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs with super walks from your holiday doorstep; walk across the Dowrog Common on the Ffos y Mynach (the Monk’s path) through this Site of Scientific Interest. Take a walk east to St Davids and enjoy a meal at one of the many cafes, or walk to the Blue Flag beach of Whitesands.

Set down a quiet farm lane just 5 minutes drive from of St Davids and surrounded by the Dowrog Pools Nature Reserve (SSSI) – this location is great for wildlife and bird lovers. For those who enjoy walking, this Visit Wales 4-star cottage is a real joy with walks from your front door.
There is an abundance of countryside walks right on your doorstep and the coastal path will provide breathtaking vistas around every corner, so don't forget your walking boots.
After time wandering the shops and galleries in Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, grab a lunch at one of the many eateries and sit back and watch the comings and goings. The beautiful Cathedral and magnificent Bishops Palace are simply stunning and worth a morning or afternoon to discover them.
For those a little more adventurous, there's boat trips around Ramsey Island or try Coasteering along the Coastal Waters.
The harbour village of Solva is a 10 minute drive away. Park the car and wander down the harbour and watch the bobbing boats bringing in the catch of the day. Enjoy a coffee at the Yacht Club or find your space on the harbour wall and try your hand at crabbing.
Pembrokeshire Day trips are an easy option so pack up the car and spend the day exploring from as far South as Tenby, right up the coastline North to Poppit Sands.
