BWTHYN HIR IS JUST 500 YARDS FROM THE COAST – PERFECT FOR COUPLES OR FAMILIES ALIKE.

One of two cottages here at Porthiddy Farm, Bwthyn Hir is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet and adventures on the unspoilt Pembrokeshire coastline.

Features

* Peaceful location
* 500 yards from Abereiddy Beach – an easy 10 minute walk away.
* Single-storey Welsh cottage
* 2 Dogs welcome

Upon your arrival at the cottages, one of the first things the owners recommend to do is make your way down to the beach on foot, across the neighbouring fields at Porthiddy Farm West, through the rough common in the valley and stop and take in the views of the bay.

This short walk will take you past old cottages built for fishermen and workers at the old slate quarry (now the “Blue Lagoon”) and is instantly uplifting, particularly if you’ve had far to come. It is a fantastic spot to catch a spectacular sunset as you look out west from the beach.

Overall rating 5 stars Exceptionally spacious cottage living up to its name, Bwthyn Hir (Long Cottage)! Immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Ample parking.

Loved our visit to Abereiddy and the cottage! Perfect location to walk to the beach and the Blue Lagoon. Perfect for the dog as the beach is dog friendly all year. Love this part of Wales.
Alice, July 2023
The cottage is quite roomy and comfy. A bathroom and two sizable bedrooms are present. The beach is just a short 11-minute walk away from the area. There are always spectacular sunsets just outside your door in the evenings. If you need assistance, the proprietors will provide it. We've found a wonderful location, and I have no doubt that we'll visit it again.
