If you are looking for a traditional Pembrokeshire cottage, look no further than Lantern Cottage – its full of character and charm being over 200 years old. The charm starts outside Lantern Cottage with the beautiful babbling river right at the bottom of the garden for you to enjoy – a perfect spot for alfresco breakfast or an evening drink. As soon as you step inside you will find character in each room from the low-beamed ceilings, log burning stove, characterful bedrooms to local art and locally made rugs.
The local owners have lovingly redecorated the whole property creating a charming holiday cottage for all to enjoy.
The galley kitchen includes a dishwasher and plenty of storage.
Dine in the characterful dining room with log burning stove – perfect for lingering over a glass of wine and planning your next day ahead.
The lounge has 2 x comfy 3 seater sofas to relax in, as well as a Smart TV with full SKY package.
Upstairs there is a shower room on the mid floor.

The Garden leads onto the River – it is unenclosed.
CHILDREN 8yrs+ only. For the reason below with regards to the river, we ask that no Children under 8 years at the property.
CHILDREN (8 yrs + only) MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE GARDEN. The banks of the River flow directly alongside the gardens – approximately 10 yards from the cottage. There is no fence at the bottom of the garden – it leads directly into the river.
LOW BEAMED CEILINGS. As the cottage is a period property, the doorways are low. If you are tall you will need to bend your head to enter. This is a character property – doorways into some of the rooms are unusually low – please mind your head. Take Care in the Kitchen and Bathroom to the Ensuite Bedroom especially.

Wander down to the harbour (3 minute walk) and try your hand at crabbing on the quayside – one of the best crabbing spots in Pembrokeshire.
Meander through the Bluebell woods, set directly opposite the cottage
Get ready for a day walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path - no need to take the car for your trip, the path runs through Solva and so do the local buses.
For meals out, there is a lovely gastro pub (The Cambrian) just doors away or try Café 35 by the harbour. The village also has a number of local pubs, cafes and shops.
Nearby St Davids is only a 7 minute drive away and has a good selection of eateries including 2 restaurants for dinner.
