Testimonials

We had a lovely stay at Lantern Cottage it's in the perfect place to enjoy the coastal walks and beaches. We would definitely stay again
Eleanor, October 2019
This is such a perfect spot to stay, we fell in love with Lower Solva. The cottage is literally 3 minutes walk from the harbor and this is perfect for crabbing with the kiddies when the tide is in. When the tide is out you can take a stroll along the sand and round to the left where there is a hidden sandy beach in a sheltered cove. We can really recommend Lantern Cottage as the perfect place to stay on Solva, you'll love it!
Pippa, August 2019
We have just enjoyed a fantastic week's holiday in this delightful cottage. The garden is lovely and an ideal spot to start the day with a cup of coffee and end it with a glass of wine. The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped and is in the ideal spot, not far from St David and Newgale Beach (good for body boarding) . Solva is a great village with friendly locals and welcoming pubs, we liked the ship where we were even invited to join a team in the quiz.
Lynn, August 2019
We had a wonderful week staying at Lantern Cottage. We especially loved the beautiful garden and setting on the river. Staying in the lovely village of Solva was ideal for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.
Millie, August 2019
This cottage is charming. Fantastic location, close to Solva shops, pubs and harbour, yet in a quite road. The parking space is a massive plus in Solva where parking is quite restricted. Lovely garden leading down to a stream. Well equipped, lovely rooms, fabulous.
Mark, July 2019
A lovely warm welcoming cottage with a nice garden to enjoy and relax. The local residents are friendly and enjoyed the local food. There are some lovely walks around Solva, both coastal and woodland walks.
Kauser, July 2019
This is a clean, well equipped cottage in a lovely location. We were lucky enough to have chosen a warm and sunny weekend for our stay. The garden is beautiful, we sat there in the sunshine while our dog was able to keep cool by paddling in the river. The pubs in the village are dog friendly and there are lovely walks in the woods behind the cottage and along the harbour and coastal path.
Shan, June 2019
Really lovely cottage in a wonderful village. Loved our time here and would highly recommend!
Nick, May 2019
Lantern Cottage is a delightful cottage, close to the harbour and facilities at Solva. It was spotlessly clean with excellent bathroom (really good showers) and kitchen facilities. We really enjoyed our stay there.
