Ty Canol is set within a delightful part of Pembrokeshire countryside, just minutes from the superb coastline of this very special part of Wales.
One of two converted stone cottages here at Porthiddy Farm, Ty Canol is set in a very peaceful and attractive spot to escape to. Walkers will delight at the coastal paths nearby and there is ample opportunity to explore St.Davids (15 minute drive away) with its stunning Cathedral, excellent restaurants and boutique shops, or idle days away on the beautiful beaches nearby.
Features
* Peaceful setting
* Charming and well-presented cottage
* Rural location
* Welcomes up to 2 dogs
* Abereiddy beach 10 minute walk
Upon your arrival at the cottages, one of the first things the owners recommend to do is make your way down to the beach on foot, across the neighbouring fields at Porthiddy Farm West, through the rough common in the valley and stop and take in the views of the bay. This short walk will take you past old cottages built for fishermen and workers at the old slate quarry (now the “Blue Lagoon”) and is instantly uplifting, particularly if you’ve had far to come. It is a fantastic spot to catch a spectacular sunset as you look out west from the beach.
