Guest Reviews

The cottage was really lovely, so much better than the photos. It was really spacious and the bathrooms were really well appointed. The cottage was very warm and heated ready for our arrival. The Aga was amazing, the kitchen was warm all the time and it made the most amazing jacket potatoes. We could see the rolling hills, the cathedral and the sea in the distance - so the view was incredible, literally panoramic. The cottage was set in a tiny cluster cottages, and the road only serviced these properties, so it felt very private and was very peaceful.

The cottage was just blissful - not one but two wood-burning stoves and a four oven Aga. It was cosy and spacious, it matched the photos perfectly. Sometimes what you see is not what you get, but in this case, the cottage exceeded expectations. The beds were comfy and there were three shower rooms, as well as a generous warm drying/ utility room. The property was really well thought out. The instructions for arrival were timely and easy to follow. We felt looked after during our stay, with thoughtful little touches, a vase of flowers, the heating on, emergency torches in case of a power cut, (which did happen!) Tea, milk and sugar had been provided, and it just felt that we could settle in quickly and enjoy our holiday. A lovely surprise: view across the fields to the coast and the sea beyond. I could have stayed there forever! A highlight was watching the flock of sheep being herded straight past the front door, by three diligent collies, and two beaming farmers! Fabulous.

What a wonderful time we had at Wdig Cottage. Such a lovely welcome from Maggie and so thoughtful with all the welcoming gifts. Ideally located for all the lovely walks, fabulous scenery and amazing beaches. Not to mention the spiritual atmosphere that is St Davids. We are back again in November

We had the most wonderful time at Wdig Cottage last week, it really was absolutely beautifully presented and comfortable. A real treat to come into the warmth of the AGA kitchen and every room had been so well appointed. Gorgeous hot showers too! We are already planning on coming back and making it our place to be in the summer.

What an absolutely lovely stay at Wdig cottage! The sheep fields are so beautiful. The girls especially loved how warm and cosy the house was (thanks aga). Location was perfect, idyllic countryside and close to Whitesands, St Davids and nearby villages. We hope to come back!
