Pembroke Castle
A Wee Quest
Looking for family fun this Half Term? Head to Pembroke Castle, where your guide Isla will bring history to life through enchanting children’s stories. Set off on a medieval adventure through the castle, learning the art of capturing and defending a fortress — plus plenty more along the way, from bold quests to legendary heroics! Sessions run twice daily: 12pm & 2pm
Tales of Kings & Princesses
Discover the stories of the kings and princesses who once lived at Pembroke Castle. Expert guide Howard will take you on a fascinating tour and share tales from the castle’s 900 years of history, bringing the past to life around every corner. Sessions run Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 12pm & 2pm

Roch Village Pantomime – Rapunzel at Victoria Hall
The Roch Village Pantomime is back this February Half Term with the much-loved classic Rapunzel! Expect an evening full of laughter, drama, and brilliant local talent, as this timeless fairytale comes to life on stage.
Performances run from 19th–21st February Tickets are £5 for an adult, £3 for a child and our Saturday night performance is £6 for all. You can buy your tickets directly from the bar at the Victoria Inn, Roch or by calling 07900 690 945.

Events at Oriel Y Parc, St Davids
Get parade-ready this February Half Term with some seriously dragon-tastic creativity in St Davids! Children can take part in fun, hands-on art workshops, making their very own magical creations to wear and show off.
Create Dragon Wings & Giant Daffodils in a creative workshop — perfect for anyone getting ready to join in with the St Davids Day Parade. Wednesday 18th February, 11am–3pm, £4 per child
Or why not design your own mythical creature, using a variety of materials to create a unique masterpiece? Dragon Headdress Workshop also returns, giving little adventurers the chance to craft their own fiery headwear. 14th–27th February (excluding 17th, 18th & 19th), 11am–3pm, FREE

Dr. Beynon's Bug Farm, St Davids
Come and meet (and eat!) some of the world’s best bugs at The Bug Farm, St Davids. This is a unique February half term activity that we’re sure you won’t forget. Get to know some fascinating invertebrates in the Tropical Bug Zoo, head to the Nature Hut for games, learning and crafts for the kids, and then finish the day off with a delicious meal at Grub Kitchen – yum!

Go Crabbing In Solva
Crabbing is an activity ‘for the kids’, that will soon have the adults completely engrossed too. All you need is a bucket, crab line, and the perfect bait to get started. Fair warning though, things can get competitive!
Remember that Solva Quay is a working harbour with boats coming and going. If you’re unsure where is best to set up for an afternoon’s crabbing, ask someone and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Relax At The Torch Theatre
During February Half Term, Torch Theatre in Milford is the perfect place for a fun family day out, with exciting shows that will entertain both little ones and grown-ups alike.
Exciting Science brings a fun-filled show packed with spectacular experiments — from creating a volcanic eruptionto turning a vacuum cleaner into a missile launcher! A high-energy event for curious minds and budding scientists. Wednesday 18th February, £15.50
Or, for something a little more magical, settle in for The Littlest Yak — a musical adaptation of the award-winning book, full of heart, humour and songs, and sure to delight audiences young and old. Saturday 21st February, £15 adults | £12.50 children

Get Up Close With Animals
Looking for an unforgettable day out this February Half Term? Why not book an animal experience at Folly Farm and get to know some of their amazing animals up close! You can also head along to meet the newest arrival at the park — Rhodri, the adorable black rhino calf, and see him settling into his new home.
Manor Park Wildlife Park also offers incredible animal experiences, with unforgettable encounters with animals like gibbons, red pandas and even tigers — a truly special treat that you and your little ones will be talking about long after the visit. Even better, they’re offering half price kids during Half Term, making it an even more tempting family day out!

Castell Henllys
Nestled in the countryside in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this Iron Age Fort offers a fantastic opportunity to step back in time and experience life as it was thousands of years ago. Have a go at using a slingshot and join in with a demonstration of an ancient craft or skill — a brilliant hands-on activity for the whole family. Monday–Sunday, 10am–3pm
For something a little different, you can also join the rangers to explore the magical world of Biofluorescence in the spring woodland. Using UV torches, you’ll discover glowing plants and insects and see nature in a whole new way. Wednesday 18th February, 6pm–8pm, £15

Get Active At Heatherton World of Activities
Want to really tire the kids out? Head to Heatherton World of Activities! Enjoy everything from zorbing and inflatable slides to mini golf and go karting for the younger members of the family. For those who want a bit more adrenaline, there’s also paintballing and a tree tops trail! This exciting day out will have you all snoozing in front of the log burner when you get back to your cottage by the sea.

Have An Adventure With TYF
Enjoy the Pembrokeshire coastline to the maximum with a TYF Adventure this February Half Term. With adventures like climbing, coasteering and kayaking on offer, they offer a fabulous way to experience the St Davids Peninsula. If your children are a little younger, they also offer a Rockpool Safari to learn all about the creatures that call this coast home!

There’s so much to see and do this February half term that we’re sure that your trip to St Davids and its surroundings won’t disappoint – and we reckon that, if you stick to our list, the kids will sleep all the way home!
