May half term is nearly here and, if you’re planning a stay on the Pembrokeshire coast, there’s plenty happening to keep the whole family entertained.

Discovery Ramsey Island
May is one of the best times to visit Ramsey Island, with wildlife, wildflowers and seabirds bringing the island to life. From bright sea pinks and flowering gorse to choughs, kittiwakes and guillemots, it’s one of the most vibrant times of year to explore this beautiful corner of Pembrokeshire.
Boats leave from St Justinian’s with crossings available through Thousand Islands Expeditions. Once on the island, follow the rugged 3½-mile walking route around Carn Llundain and Carn Ysgubor or simply take a picnic and enjoy the coastal views towards Skomer Island.
If you’d prefer to stay on the water, book a wildlife boat trip with Falcon Boats for the perfect mix of education and adventure.
Remember to take your binoculars!
