9 of the Best Coffee Spots in St Davids

In between exploring the Pembrokeshire coast path, lounging on the beach, visiting the Cathedral and everything else you’ll get up to in St Davids, there is no better way to take a break than watching the world go by with a fantastic cup of coffee. Here are our picks for the best places for coffee in and around St Davids.

The Brunch House, St Davids

Attached to the Tourist Information Centre at the top of town, The Brunch House not only serves great coffee, but also a fantastic brunch menu often combining local ingredients with Middle Eastern influences. It’s a great place for a relaxed brunch, or just a coffee in the peaceful courtyard!

Minnow, St Davids

Minnow is a new addition to St Davids, serving thoughtfully made coffee, homemade bakes and hearty sandwiches in a relaxed, friendly space. Perfect for catching up with friends, grabbing a takeaway on your morning dog walk or simply taking five for yourself.

MamGu's Kitchen, St Davids

MamGu’s Kitchen is famous for their homemade Welshcakes in all sorts of flavours! Head to their cafe inside St Davids Cathedral and have a great time pick and mixing those incredible flavours, washed down with great coffee.

The Mill Cafe, St Davids

The Mill’s breakfasts are renowned for being among the best in Pembrokeshire, and there’s nothing better than a fry up here with coffee in hand. Bliss!

Drifter, St Davids

Drifters is another new coffee spot in St Davids, serving up speciality coffee, matcha and some seriously tempting pastries. Pop in, grab your favourite and settle in for a slow start to the day.

Porthclais Kiosk, Porthclais

Tucked away at Porthclais Harbour is the little but great Porthclais Kiosk. Head here for yummy ice cream, homemade cakes and, of course, coffee. Our favourite is their affogato with local vanilla ice cream – a perfect stop-off during a coast path walk!

The Shed, Porthgain

Further afield in Porthgain is The Shed Bistro. Famous for their fish and chips and other incredible fresh seafood dishes, there are also beautiful cakes, desserts and coffees on the go. Our favourite way to spend an afternoon is to walk from Abereiddy to Porthgain, and end the walk with a slice of cake and a cappucino on the harbour wall from The Shed.

Unsunghero, St Davids

A coffee spot unlike any other on this list. Unsunghero is a surf and skate shop on the high street, and as well as being the go-to guys for wetsuits, surfboards and more, they also really know their coffee! There’s a small bar at the front of the shop where you can watch the world go by while sipping a perfect flat white.

The Pebbles, St Davids

Perched at the top of the hill that leads down the Cathedral, The Pebbles and shop serves lovely coffee alongside scrumptious cakes and light lunches. Sit on the terrace and watch the hustle and bustle of the city centre and take in the majestic view of the Cathedral valley.
