Set in an elevated position in the very heart of the beautiful coastal harbour village of Solva, Y Bwlch offers modern, spacious accommodation and everything you could need to enjoy a truly special holiday in this popular Pembrokeshire location.
From the two front bedrooms, the kitchen and the lounge, Y Bwlch offers glimpses across the sparkling blue waters of St Brides Bay. This detached modern home oozes holiday happiness and offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious sitting room, and a bubbling hot tub outside for some holiday luxury.
From your door, it's a 10-minute stroll downhill to the Harbour where you can explore the many highlights this coastal village has to offer. There is a selection of local cafes and pubs, as well as independent shops and galleries.
The Coastal Path is also a 10-minute walk away and you can be sure it will take you on some amazing journeys too. You are also just a few minutes walk away from the village general store. Here you can pick up freshly baked croissants in the morning or freshly caught local crab for some delicious crab sandwiches for lunch.

We had a really lovely family trip to Solva — it’s such a beautiful area, and the property made a great base for exploring the coast. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our stay. There were just a few small things that could be improved. The floors could have been a little cleaner, and after some heavy rain, the garden patio didn’t drain very well, which meant it held a bit of water — our dog ended up getting quite wet after going outside! We also found the check-out time quite early, which made the last morning feel a little rushed. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay — it’s a lovely place in a great location, and with a little more attention to cleaning, drainage, and perhaps a slightly later check-out, it would be perfect.

The house was so well equipped, clean and gave us the opportunity to have a 4 generation family holiday and with 4 dogs. The area is beautiful some lovely places to eat in Solva particularly 35. Rachel is a very responsive host, the hot tub is a definite bonus and the Welcome bag of goodies so thoughtful there was something for everyone including the dogs. Could not fault the property it was perfect.

Perched above Solva Harbour, in a quiet location, Y Bwlch is just a 10-minute walk down to Solva High Street, where you will find Hats and Barrels pub and restaurant, the Cambrian Inn restaurant, village cafés, and art galleries showcasing local talent. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes nearby for walks along St Brides Bay and to nearby beaches and coves, including the majestic Newgale Bay, about an hour walk away. St Davids, with its Cathedral, shops, pubs, and restaurants, is a short drive away, or travel further afield to explore the Peninsula's coastline and countryside, up to Strumble Head with its lighthouse, providing safe passage for all at sea.
