This picture-perfect riverside cottage nestled in the harbour village of Solva is a delightful, all-year-round base for romance and adventure on the Pembrokeshire coast

Grove Cottage is a bright and cosy cottage where every detail has been wonderfully thought through to make your holiday a total joy. With a babbling river at the end of the garden, the sea within walking distance and the coast path on your doorstep, this cottage is a superb retreat. If you're looking to reset on the coast, to spend time snuggled with a book by the river or the log burner, then Grove Cottage is for you. This cottage is immaculately presented and offers a romantic idyll for your break.

The open plan kitchen/living area oozes homely comfort. Sink into the ample leather sofa for chilly evenings by the fire, or throw open the French doors to let the summer sun stream in. Enjoy a morning coffee on the balconette and wander down for picnic lunches in the garden. The bedrooms are cosy and relaxing, perfect after a day’s exploring.

Solva's Main Street is just moments away, with restaurants, pubs, shops and even a yoga studio. Just a few steps beyond is Solva beach and harbour, with access to 186 miles of stunning coast path. Solva is the ultimate sleepy harbour village, with plenty to keep you occupied and a laid back vibe.

Enter through the hallway into the Kitchen/Dining/Living area:
Kitchen/ Dining area - Fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, dining table to seat 4
Lounge area - Leather sofa, 2 x armchairs, log burner, Smart TV with soundbar, French doors open onto a balconette with bistro table and chairs. 15 steps down from the spiral staircase to the lawned garden

Great place to leave your muddy walking boots and raincoats or towel down the dog - with washing machine
You can access the property via the side door from outside - 8 steps down no handrail.
An internal stair lead up to the lounge. NB: You will need to mind your head as the ceiling is low on the staircase and stairs are steep

Bathroom - Bath, shower over bath, WC, wash hand basin, heated towel rail

Outside

Garden - Main access to the garden is via the Exterior Spiral Staircase from the lounge, 15 stairs down

Pretty Riverside Garden Area with fire pit and benches at the bottom of the garden by the river. Perfect spot for bird watching and listening to the sounds of the river. The garden is not enclosed.
Please note: Children 12yrs+ only. For the reason below with regards to the river, we ask that no children under 12 years at the property. The banks of the river flow directly alongside the gardens - approximately 10 yards from the cottage. There is no fence at the bottom of the garden - it leads directly into the river.

Located in the Solva valley, overlooking the river that heads down to the harbour, Grove Cottage sits in a truly magical location. The sheltered harbour of Solva, is just a short walk down the valley, passing the old fisherman's cottage of Prendergast and the woodland valley hugging the riverside. Along the harbour and small High Street, you'll find local pubs, cafés, galleries, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. From here you can discover St Davids to the west and Newgale Bay to the east, about an hour walk in both directions. Alternatively, take a short drive to Whitesands Bay, or explore the North Pembrokeshire coastline to Strumble Head.
