The Beacon really is a fantastic house for a family gathering or celebration or a group of friends who simply need an excuse to get together. It’s excellent location just above Solva village means you are within easy access to the Coastal Path and all that Solva has to offer.
Solva is a wonderful village with lots to offer. With gastro pubs, restaurants and charming and unique coffee shops, along with the traditional local pubs, there is no shortage of things to do.
The downhill walk to the harbour will certainly be worth it for an afternoon of crabbing, swimming and watching the world go by. The hill can be challenging on the way back up, if any of your party has mobility issues recommend driving to the harbour instead of walking.
The tiny, charming city of St Davids, with the majestic Cathedral and more shops and galleries, lies just 3 miles or an 8 minute drive away.
However, if a day building sandcastles on the beach sounds more appealing, the extremely popular sandy beaches of Whitesands and Newgale are a short car journey away.
