This welcoming, relaxed St Davids holiday home stands in the heart of Britain's smallest city, not far from the Cathedral, just a short drive to the beach and within walking distance of St Davids' pubs, restaurants and shops - all waiting to be explored.
Extremely spacious, yet warmly welcoming, Tŷ Gwyn is a comfortable, well equipped holiday home and offers everything friends and families could need for a truly memorable holiday, with the added bonus of private off road parking for up to 2 cars.
Downstairs is spacious with a kitchen/dining room and separate bright sitting room, sunny conservatory (perfect for catching up on your holiday reading). Upstairs there are 4 spacious bedrooms (one with ensuite shower room), a family bathroom and an additional shower room on the ground floor.
The helpful owners live next door and extend a warm welcome, but always respect their guest’s privacy. The access to their cottage is completely separate but the parking area and steps up to the garden are shared. The garden has lots of room to run around in, and the sunny patio at the rear of the property is the perfect spot for dining on balmy summer evenings with garden furniture and a barbecue.

We returned to Ty Gwyn for a second year’s family holiday in this comfortable house, which is within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and Cross Square. There is plenty of room in the well equipped kitchen dining room, and the adjacent laundry room is practical. The living room is spacious and there is a small front porch with hooks for drying waterproofs. The conservatory has enough room for storing a pram, as well as being a cosy space for quiet reading or playing board games after dinner. The sheltered stone terrace is lovely for eating out at the table, as well as providing space for the BBQ, outside tap (for rinsing wetsuits) & temporary washing line. The raised enclosed lawned garden is delightful for small children, & the private parking on shingle is convenient. The house is set back from the road and offers lovely views of the garden, countryside & adjacent period properties.

Explore More of St Davids
Located just a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral and Cross Square, you can enjoy the city's cafés, shops, galleries and restaurants all from your door. Only a short 15 minute walk will find you at St Non's Chapel, the birthplace of St David. From here, you can pick up the coastal footpath to explore the Peninsula and the many bays and coves, hugging the coastline. Head 20 minutes east towards Caerfai Bay, or an hour to Solva, where you can explore this historic Harbour and beautiful valley. Alternatively, Whitesands Bay is only a short 10 minute drive from the house, where you can try surfing the Atlantic swell or watch the sun go down over St Davids Head.
