More about this St Davids House for holidays ….
Captain’s House (built in 1882) is one of a terrace of Coastguard houses, also known as Royal Terrace. As soon as you enter the front door, you know that Captain’s House will be a fantastic St. Davids retreat. There are two living rooms as you enter the property providing space for both children and adults alike– a more formal sitting room to the front and a cosy snug to the rear of the property with log burning stove, Smart TV and plenty of books to indulge in. The basement is home to the very well-equipped kitchen complete with Smeg Range Cooker and dining area.
5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms
The bedrooms are located from the 1st floor upwards. In total there are 4 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 with ensuites and 2 further bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom on the top floor enjoys beautiful views from the dormer windows – open them up and soak up the vista over the Bishops Palace, the St.Davids countryside and to the distant sea beyond. Here there is also an ensuite bathroom and a private staircase leading to a study area for those that need some quiet space to work.
Outside & Parking ….
The enclosed, secluded garden is great for alfresco dining with table, chairs and BBQ. It is set slightly away from the house along a shared access path. The property benefits from a parking space across the road – a rare treat for central St.Davids properties, and a car park pass is provided for a further car for the car park at Quickwell Hill, just 30 yards away.
