There is so much to enjoy near Harbourmasters Cottage – we hope you have a fantastic time and make the most of the cottage as an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the UK’s only coastal National Park.

To get to know the city’s history and culture, be sure to visit St Davids Cathedral and the stunning ruins of the Bishops Palace next door.

St Davids has the hustle and bustle expected of a small city, with plenty of quiet pockets. Independent and innovative cafes, shops and galleries rub shoulders with traditional pubs and restaurants.

A short drive will bring you to Whitesands, a beach popular with sun and surf seekers alike. Or take a 1 mile walk to Caerfai, a large cove beach perfect for picnicking or taking a dip.

We are blessed with some fantastic places to eat in Pembrokeshire. Ideas include fish and chips at the Shed Bistro, Porthgain or A Welsh Oggie from St.Davids, or the local ice cream producers, just yummy.

A must whilst in the area is a Boat Trip to Ramsey Island – book your trip at the booking offices in St.Davids and take a boat ride from St.Justinians (close by) to look for all sorts of marine wildlife including seabirds, porpoise, seals and dolphins.
